The Philadelphia Eagles held their annual Eagles Autism Challenge over the weekend and of course, Jason Kelce was in attendance.
The Eagles' legendary center took full advantage of the event and tried to introduce hi youngest daughter Bennett to Swoop -- the Eagles mascot.
It went very well, until it didn't
"She was Soo excited when she first saw him, basically running with her arms at first when we start going over," Kelce wrote on X/Twitter. "Once we got up close, her face changed, she was frozen…"

The Eagles Autism Challenge is the team's biggest charitable cause where fans, players, coaches, and executives participate in either the Wawa Classic 30-mile bike ride, Wawa Shorti 10-mile bike ride, FreedomPay 5K run/walk, or the Sensory Walk. Those who can't be there in person can take part virtually.
Kelce's wife, Kylie, is the Event Consultant for the Eagles Autism Foundation and plays a big role in the weekend that hits close to home for her.
"I had a neighbor growing up who’s more like a brother than a neighbor," Kylie said during an appearance on Kelce's New Heights podcast show. "His name is Tim. Now our girls call him Uncle Tim. When I was growing up, he called me and my sister his sisters, my mom his girlfriend and my dad the boss.
"...It never really registered with me that we were interacting with someone who was on the spectrum. So when I got a little bit older and realized how impactful it was to have Tim in my life and to understand autism on a personal level in the way that having Tim did.”
This year, the Eagles Austim Challenge raised a record-breaking $8.1 million for autism research and care programs.
Since the inaugural event kicked off in 2018, the Eagles Autism Foundation has raised over a total of $22 million for care and research, with every year being a record-breaking one.
So far, the money from the Eagles Autism Challenge has helped fund 86 autism research projects and community grants.
"I just feel passionately that the Eagles Autism Foundation [is] doing their absolute best to impact the autism community through programs, through research. Every single dollar donated goes back to the Autism community,” Kylie said. “They’re very transparent about how your money’s being used.”
